I have had the honor of painting and drawing a lot of people’s friends, pets and family members. Capturing the true, vibrant personality of someone is important and there is a sense of satisfaction when the client recognizes their loved ones in your work. When someone is overcome with emotion, that’s when I know I’ve captured more than just a likeness and I’m thankful for the vulnerable affirmation.
